Yes. Ontario is where Syon Safety is based and where the work is done in person — HR and health and safety consulting on site, walkthroughs and gap analysis where the hazards actually are, records reviewed where they are kept, and training delivered on the equipment your people use so practical evaluations reflect real conditions. Group scheduling is built for teams of 5 to 50.

What is an Ontario employer legally required to have in place?

Every Ontario employer must provide health and safety awareness training to all workers and supervisors under O. Reg. 297/13, keep a first aid station with trained attendants, and maintain workplace violence and harassment policies — none of that depends on your size. Beyond that baseline, what else applies depends on your headcount and on the work itself: a written policy, a worker representative or a joint health and safety committee at different staff counts, and training like Working at Heights, WHMIS or lift truck certification depending on what your crew actually does. An inspector asks for the records first, so a program that exists in practice but not on paper is treated as one that does not exist.
